Positive work environment

A Positive work environment can be defined as the place where focuses are toward to employee’s value, respect, happiness and all other reasons for development. When cultivate positive background in the organization it will lead to achieve organization success and also affect for the employees positively. Positive environment always include a safe and healthy.

“Office environment positively affects the behavior of individual employees. Thus, the excellence of working environment act as an essential function in determining the level of employee and worker motivation, productivity, and performance”. (Sharma, Dhar, & Tyagi,2016)







How to create a positive work environment    

Creating a positive work environment in the organization is an essential task for successions of an organization. More benefits flow from a positive organization.

 Ways of creating a positive work environment,

  1. Provide appreciation to employees
  • The Organizations may appreciate the dedication and hard work for assisting organization’s goals. As  methods of appreciation can be practiced in several ways. Identify and reward the employee of the month, launch performance based rewards, offer a bonus and increment.
       2. Allow for open communication

  • The Organization may allow employees to express their feelings, attitudes, thoughts and ideas. Hence employees are bonding with organization will  increase and also productivity.
      3. Maintain workforce diversity

  • Workforce in an organization should differ in culture, age, language and so on. This will lead to give a fresh experience and make happier for employees.
      4. Offer a better work life balance

  • The organization may support to balance personal life and cooperate balance of employees in giving flexible work schedule, introducing leave facilities, offering childcare facility are some of ways for balancing work life balance of employees.
      5. Pay attention for employee’s development

  • Invest in the career development of employees by offering training programs, sponsoring for the studies and so on.

Positive work environment leads to more benefits for the organization. A positive work environment consists with strong, motivated and satisfied workforce. Hence more benefits can be gained to organization.

Motivated and satisfied workforce consists with higher level of efficiency, quality, skills and knowledge, Hence total productivity will increase of the organization.

Positive work environment is always make a reason for retaining and employee turnover level will go down. Employees who are in positive work environment feel their value and more likely to stay in organization for the long terms.

  • Ladder for teamwork and collaboration

In a positive work environment team mates share their ideas freely and keep positive communication.

  • Create a healthy human resource

Positive work environment offers a better experience for employees without stress, negative attitudes, burnout. Employees always with happy, safe and supportive environment. A positive work environment is essential for the success and well-being of both employees and organizations.
